Australian Science

If you  insist on using an imported electron microscope to hammer rusty nails, but refuse to  use anything other than a rusty hammer to do scientific research – you are almost ready to join, mate. “Almost” – because we are yet to receive a telephone call from one of us which would confirm that you (1) never used  a hammer without getting a permission and (2) you don’t know what an electron microscope is for and, especially –  why it was imported. But remember – this telephone call is compulsory. Better organize two – in case there is a competition – of the ranks of the callers, pardon – referees.

If you thought that this was about equipment and not about how the country uses   imported  brain-power – you get additional scores, mate – we are the clever nation, no worries.
